Chapter activities

Training, leisure time and family are combined in JCI activities. The national and regional meetings often include special programs for the family and JCI Seinäjoki also organizes some events that are open to the whole family.

The most significant traditional parties are our Summer Opening, Long Lunch and Board Changing Gala. In addition to this, JCI Seinäjoki organizes projects and networking events and participates in events organized by collaborating organizations. We actively participate in regional and national meetings because they are a great opportunity for training and networking.

Our training includes topics from communication, group work, leadership, meeting skills and other subjects. By actively participating in different roles in the chapter, members have the opportunity to learn project management, leadership, motivational, marketing, planning and presentation skills as well as event organizing, among many others.

The worldwide JCI organization is a membership-based nonprofit organization of 200,000 young people aged 18 to 40 in 5,000 communities and more than 100 countries around the world. For more information about the Finnish national JCI organization you can visit jci.fi, and for more information about the international JCI organization you can visit jci.cc.

Our organization co-operates with other chapters and participates actively in the activities and events organized at a national level. We also have a twinning chapter in Japan, so international collaboration is encouraged.

The main theme behind all activities in JCI is self-development and challenging oneself with new ideas and activities – in addition to having fun together of course.
